A unified brand for Marché PUBLIC based in Montreal.
Cooking should be simple, intuitive, and welcoming, especially for those new to the kitchen. Marché Public is a vibrant network of public markets in Montreal, focusing on celebrating fresh flavors, local artisans, and seasonal delights, bringing the city’s foodie culture to life.
The mandate was to develop a packaging identity for a curated selection of cooking oils. The design focused on making cooking more accessible while prioritizing durability, sustainability, and visual appeal.
With a focus on eco-conscious design and reusable materials, I aimed to create an identity that feels both approachable and modern, one that showcases a product as warm and inviting as it is practical.
Beyond functionality, I intended to craft a packaging experience that resonates with young adults who value aesthetics, sustainability, and ease of use in equal measure.
Leaning into reusability, the design features glass bottles meant to be refilled and repurposed. Organic, hand-drawn illustrations paired with a structured serif typeface create a balance between approachability and clarity, while a minimalist yet bold color palette ensures a striking, timeless appeal.
Thoughtful details, like hang-on labels with recipes and an integrated website for meal inspiration, make cooking effortless, engaging, and accessible to all.
